I have a strong history of collaboration across scientific disciplines and diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. I am collaborating with geneticists, molecular biologists, population ecologists, and microbiologists from Universities in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and local NGOs to evaluate coral population responses to extreme physical disturbances (e.g., hurricanes), biological stressors (e.g., predation), and anthropogenic factors (e.g., pollution). Furthermore, I work closely with students, local stakeholders, citizen scientists, volunteer citizens to solve pressing needs in conservation.
