I am Assistant Professor at the University of Puerto Rico - Bayamón. My research interests interface the disciplines of marine ecology, conservation biology, and ecological restoration. Specifically, I aim to translate ecological theory into applied science. I combine demographic monitoring and field and laboratory experiments with quantitative tools such as population models to fulfill my goal.
